Three time Super League winner Lee Smith joined the Wildcats on a permanent basis in July 2012 after originally joining on a one month loan deal.

The utility back amassed over 150 appearances in his two spells in the blue and amber, either side of a short stint with rugby union side London Wasps. His most successful time at Headingley was before his switch of codes and in 2008 he produced a man of the match performance to win the Harry Sunderland trophy in the Grand Final, beating St Helens.

The 26-year-old has moved to the Rapid Solicitors Stadium to reinvigorate his career that has also seen him play for the full England team.

Smith signed a deal that will keep him at Trinity until the end of 2013 and was handed the number 4 jersey by Richard Agar for the 2013 season with intentions to play in the centres. The powerful, pacey back look will be looking to impress after a full pre-season for the Wildcats.
