Danny Cowling is a product from the regarded Featherstone Lions set-up which earned him a contract with the Wildcats. The 21-year-old originates from Pontefract has represented his country as an England under 16 international with his main attributes being his strength and speed which make him an agile centre.

Cowling signed a new 12-month contract in October 2012 which will see him remain in the red, white and blue until at last the end of the 2013 season. The youngster earned his new deal through his time spent on dual-registration at Doncaster where he helped The Dons to lift the Championship One crown while making his Super League debut in the dramatic home victory against St Helens.

Cowling rejoined the Dons for the start of their 2013 season on dual-registration where he hopes his performances once again catch the eye of Richard Agar.
