LAUITIITI ENTERS EARLY GUILTY PLEA
Ali Lauitiiti has entered an early guilty plea to his RFL charge of using his knees in a tackle on Leroy Cudjoe last weekend.
The Kiwi was charged for the incident that took place in the third minute of the 35-14 victory over Huddersfield Giants.
It means that Lauitiiti will miss the game against his former club Leeds Rhinos next Monday at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium but will be available for selection when the Wildcats travel to face Castleford Tigers on Sunday 5th August.
Leeds Rhinos half-back Danny McGuire is also in danger of missing next Monday night’s West Yorkshire derby having been charged with making dangerous contact with Brett Kearney of Bradford Bulls in the 15th minute of Friday’s match at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.
He is set to contest his charge in front of the RFL at this evening’s disciplinary panel.
