No summer would be complete without a Wildcats Summer Camp and you can now book on to be part of this year’s fun!

The camp is set to be bigger and better than ever and the Wildcats Community team are inviting boys and girls aged 6 and above to be part of the fun. The Camp incorporates master classes of rugby league training and dance lessons running alongside each other which has proved to be a massive success in the past.
The event will once again to be held at the Thornes Park campus of Wakefield College and will take place from Monday 13th August until Thursday 16th August with each day running 10am-3pm.
Both the rugby camp and dance camp are perfect for boys and girls to take part in the week which is in the middle of the summer holidays. The rugby sessions include drills to try and emulate your heroes so if you want to pass like Tim Smith, tackle like Danny Washbrook or kick like Paul Sykes then the Wildcats Community team will help you with the fun-filled activities.
Not only will the Community coaches work on individual play but teamwork too as it is an essential part to any sport and life in general. There will be team activities and small sided rugby games to put your skills to the test.
Learn new dance routines with the Wildcat Dolls.
If you’re a budding young dance then sign up for the Summer Camp and take part in a range of dances from cheerleading, the increasingly popular street dance, contemporary jazz and musical theatre, all of which will be led our very own Wildcat Dolls.
The Dance Camp children will have a special performance for their family and friends at the end of the four days of activities whilst Thursday evening will see a celebratory presentation taking place in Cats Bar.
The Camps are for young people of all abilities and cost just £40 per child which offers great value for 20 hour fun and coaching delivered by qualified coaches. The camps also promote healthy lifestyles in partnership with Heart Research UK.
